Innovating Logistics Training

Tackling the Challenge of Driver Shortages

e-DRIVE is an Erasmus+ KA220-VET cooperation project designed to address the critical shortage of qualified logistics truck drivers in Europe. By introducing a specialized pathway within existing Vocational Education and Training (VET) frameworks, e-DRIVE prepares learners for the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.

What We Offer

Our program equips VET learners and their trainers with a comprehensive set of tools and resources.
Participants will benefit from:

  • e-DRIVE Professional Profile: A clear framework outlining the competencies required in the logistics sector.
  • 8 Stackable Micro-Courses: Each 5 hours long, these courses cover essential topics including client service, truck maintenance, and sustainability practices.
  • Digital Trucking Simulator Module: Hands-on experience in a safe environment to enhance practical skills.
  • Microcredentials: Recognized across partner countries, endorsed by WAM, ensuring that achievements are portable and valued.

Bridging Education
and Industry

e-DRIVE not only enhances individual learning but also strengthens connections between educational institutions and the logistics industry. Through career-office collaborations and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), we create pathways for future job-shadowing opportunities and real-world experiences.

The Challenge: Why e-DRIVE Matters

Across Europe, logistics companies face significant difficulties in recruiting and retaining drivers. VET providers often lack structured pathways to incorporate a specialized “logistics truck driving” training on top of existing commerce and logistics programs…
